Acquisition finance and direct participation

Company
Acquisition

Acquisition finance for buyers with a credible plan for the target, and in select cases direct participation where we intend to hold the business ourselves.

Timing decides these

Being able to give a promoter a firm answer in days rather than months is often worth more to them than a marginally finer rate. That is the part of this business we are built for — a decision taken by the people who own the risk, in one room.

What we need to see

A target we can understand, a buyer who can run it, and security that survives if the plan does not. We are lending against a business, not a spreadsheet about one.

Who can apply

  • Credible operating plan for the target
  • Buyer with relevant experience
  • Adequate security

What to bring

  • Target financials for the last three years
  • Share purchase or asset purchase agreement, draft or final
  • Valuation
  • Buyer financials and KYC
  • Security documents

Common questions

Will you fund a management buyout?

Yes, where the team has run the business and the security position works.

Do you take equity in the target?

In select cases, where we intend to hold. That is a different conversation from a loan and we will be clear which one we are having.
