How it works
Bring your ornaments to Heeraa Mansion. We weigh them net of stones, beads and fastenings, test purity at the counter, and show you the working. You see how the figure was arrived at before you decide anything. If you go ahead, documentation takes minutes and disbursal follows immediately.
Custody
Pledged items are held in insured custody on the premises. You receive a written record of exactly what was deposited, its assessed purity and net weight, and the terms on which it is held. Items are released only to the pledger, against the original pledge receipt and satisfactory identification. Not to a relative, not to anyone holding a letter.
Loan to value
The Reserve Bank of India caps lending against pledged gold ornaments at 75% of value. We work within that. Where we lend below it, we tell you why — usually because purity is uncertain or the ornament is heavily stone-set.

Common questions
Do I need income proof?
No. A gold loan is secured entirely by the pledged ornaments, so we do not ask for salary slips, tax returns or bank statements.
What if I cannot repay on time?
Speak to us before the due date, not after. Our Fair Practices Code sets out how we handle difficulty, and we will always prefer a restructured schedule to an auction. Auction is a last resort and you receive notice before it happens.
Is my gold safe?
It is held in insured custody on our premises and released only to you against the original receipt. We have done this from this building since 1995.
Can I pay only interest and keep the loan running?
[Confirm your policy on interest-only servicing and renewal.]
Rates, charges and eligibility are indicative and subject to our credit assessment. The figures that bind us are those in your sanction letter. See our Interest Rate Policy and Fair Practices Code.
