Where we fit
Where a bank sanction is already in motion but the timing does not work, a bridge from us is frequently the cleanest answer. We are equally willing to say that a bank is the cheaper lender for you, and to say so early rather than after you have paid a processing fee.
How we assess
Financials matter, but so does what we can see. In Sowcarpet we can usually find out how a business actually trades — who it buys from, who it sells to, whether it pays on time. That is worth more than a ratio.

Common questions
How quickly can you decide?
On a straightforward file with security we can usually give an indicative view within days. That speed is the reason most of our corporate borrowers come to us.
Do you lend unsecured?
[State your position. If you require security in all cases, say so — it is a strength, not a limitation.]
Will you take a second charge?
Considered case by case, depending on the first chargeholder and the headroom available.
Rates, charges and eligibility are indicative and subject to our credit assessment. The figures that bind us are those in your sanction letter. See our Interest Rate Policy and Fair Practices Code.
