The house he built, and who keeps it.
The founder, and the board today.
Sanghvi H. Goutam Chand Nahar
Founder and Visionary
Goutam Chand Nahar opened the first book at Heeraa Mansion in 1995, on a street where his family had already been trading for a generation. He built the house on a principle that has outlived him and still governs every file: that the security in front of you tells you more than any document about it, and that a lender who has not seen it is guessing.
What he left the house is a method rather than a doctrine. A file is opened only after someone has stood in front of what is being pledged. Rate, tenure and every charge go on one sheet, in language the borrower reads without help. A decline is given early and plainly, because a file kept alive for weeks and then refused costs the borrower more than the money would have.
He is no longer here to sign the sheet. The company he registered in 1995 still lends from the same address, under the same name, and a great many of the people who borrow from it knew the trading house on this street long before there was a finance company on it. Everything set out on this site, the indicative rates, the one page of terms, the plain no, is his standard, kept.
What he insisted on
See it yourself
No facility is priced against a description. Someone from the house looks at what is being pledged.
One page of terms
Rate, tenure and every charge on a single sheet, in language the borrower reads without help.
The relationship outlasts the file
A borrower repaid is a borrower who returns. The house is built on second and third facilities, not on first ones.
Say no early
A decline given quickly is a kindness. A file kept alive for weeks and then refused is not.
Who runs the house today
Three directors on the MCA register, with the whole-time direction of the company held within the founding family.
